BENGALURU: A 32-year-old doctor who forced her techie husband to watch porn and emulate those acts with her landed in trouble after he stumbled upon her sex videos and walked out on her.
The woman has now knocked on the doors of Parihar, a family counselling centre in the police commissioner’s office, to save her marriage.
The woman, 32, from Kolkata and the man, 33, from Uttar Pradesh, met on a matrimonial portal, tied the knot in 2018 and began living in east Bengaluru, a counsellor said.
The doc had already confided in her husband before marriage about her relationship with a man earlier, but that they had since separated.
Things went well between the couple initially, though the doc’s fetish for porn videos and forcing her husband to enact those acts between them was not to the liking of her spouse, as he was averse to pornography.
Trouble came their way after the doc’s husband saw a sex video of her with a man on her mobile phone. The doc wriggled out of the situation by claiming that the man was her former boyfriend who used to blackmail her with the old video and, though her husband was unhappy, he decided to move on, the counsellor said.
However, in the third week of January, the doc’s husband found a porn video online featuring his wife with yet another man. This time, when he confronted his wife, she confessed to having had many relationships before marriage but that she was not a party to uploading those acts online.
This was a tipping point for the doc’s husband, who left her and began living separately. The doc then came to Parihar and sought their help.
BS Saraswathi, senior counsellor at the centre, brought the couple face to face to resolve the problem where the man spoke up about his wife’s fetish, her sex videos, and how she had hidden details about her past from him.
“The man wants a divorce but the woman wants to save her marriage. We are counselling the couple,” Saraswathi said.
